Product of the Week

This week our men's product of the week is the Port Southern polo. This new company out of High Point, NC is trying to make a name for its selve by making a better quality polo than some of the other brands out there. Their symbol is the Pineapple, and the shirts come in a variety of colors.

The shirts are definitely a better quality than Vineyard Vines, which now makes cargo shorts and hoodies? WTF.

I met the guys who founded the company at a Steeplechase event not too long ago. They gave us some free shit so I figured I'd return the favor and talk about them on here, though no one is reading this blog yet haha.

Weekend Trip

This past Memorial Day weekend ACF and I went down to Wilmington and Wrightsville Beach in NC. Great weekend overall too. ACF likes to go there because there is a store called the Palm Garden that specializes in Lilly Pulitzer, I like going there to stop at a store called Redix in Wrightsville.

This store doesn't look like much when you first see it. Inside though its really rad. The store carries Vineyard Vines, Southern Tide, Southern Proper, Lacoste, Guy Harvey, and much much more. They have a huge selection of shoes and sandals too. What's really sick is that they have a full fishing tackle shop where you can get everything from rods and reels to Costas. They even sell the signal flag decals to monogram your car or boat.

Anyone in the Wilmington area definitely needs to hit up Redix. It is an institution.

Product of the Week

I can't guarantee I will do a product every week. I'll do products for men, and ACF will do them for the women.

This week the product comes from Moonshine USA. http://www.moonshineusa.com/ This company, based near Greenville, South Carolina, has come out with a wide range of belts, sunglass retainers (don't want to say cr**k**s or ch**s haha), and totes. They're a great Southern alternative to the belts from Leatherman Ltd. that make a similar products. They're available in a wide range of styles and sizes too.

Blogging on the Reg?

I probably won't "blog on the reg". I do have a life. I just thought I'd put rad things up relating to the fraternity life and talk about them for the masses. My goal: to stomp out cargo short and hoody-wearing tools that call themselves "frat stars".

This blog isn't going to appeal to everyone, but if you are from the South and have pledged (pledged, not simply signed up) a fraternity or sorority, than I'm sure there will be something on here for you.

Cheers,

EHB
